Spidersilk is a magic maker and dreamer of dreams, drawing inspiration from the natural world and metaphysical reality to weave a sensual, spiritually uplifting experience across your mind…Since making her debut on the Vegas strip in 2007 with Sanctuary at Krave, she hasn’t slowed down, rockin’ hearts all over Vegas and beyond: at The Factory, Vector, Carpe Noctem (current resident), The Muse (resident), Area 170, Brass Lounge, LVCS, The Artisan, Ghostbar at The Palms, the King’s Room at the Rio, Vanguard Lounge, and The Church in Dallas. She has opened for several notable underground acts including Voltaire, Marquis of Vaudeville, Straftanz and VNV Nation.
With roots in the goth/industrial/EBM scene and a lifelong love of trance, house, and tribal/world music, Spidersilk’s sound is often richly diverse, yet tells a cohesive story. She rises to the challenge of reading any floor and selecting compelling tunes with high emotional impact!She serves as Head DJ for Slave of the Muse Promotions, creating auditory art for their semi-annual masquerade balls, and moonlights as steampunk pirate-queen alter-ego DJ Scarlett Scarborough, hosting her own “Le Salon Du Coeur Libre” events at the Mob Bar in downtown Vegas, weaving together a blend of electroswing, dubstep, and old school jazz to create a rich nostalgic atmosphere with a modern twist.
She also often teams up with the EDM Nightlife Show crew to cover events, DJs, and Producers in the Las Vegas metropolitan area.Playing piano since the age of 4 and writing her own compositions and improvisations throughout childhood, Spidersilk has always been musically inspired and eager to learn. She has just started to delve into the realm of digital music production, and is currently in the process of mastering her first track, “Brave” for upcoming release, so keep an ear out- she is definitely one to watch!
