What is EDM Nightlife?

A multimedia production and publishing brand established in 2011 in Las Vegas, NV. EDM Nightlife portrays, produces and publishes artists and media releases with a keen attention to quality. The emergence of electronic music in popular culture in the U.S. since 2010 brought an explosion of new media companies, artists, blogs, etc. EDM Nightlife represents a view before this explosion, reaching back to early 1990s, keeping in mind that this culture has more history than meets the eye. Newly inspired fans and seasoned professionals of electronic dance music (“EDM”) can both learn valuable knowledge from published releases by EDM Nightlife.

Our history:

EDM Nightlife started as a project by DJ/music producer Victor Savelle in April of 2011. The original idea behind the “EDMnightlife.com project” was providing exposure to upcoming artists and information to fans in the form of written interviews, articles. By July of that year, the idea was expanded by Dan Plum who suggested “video” as the main media behind the website. As planning a pre-production was executed, the project saw it’s final polish when Aaron Bataluer joined the group as Creative Director. At this time the project was renamed “EDM Nightlife Show” and formatted to a 20 minute television slot. The group held auditions for cast members by July 2011, which-after the 6 person crew was working on interviewing every Las Vegas resident DJ in a professional private studio several times a month. Couple months later the crew recorded the first on-location night club recording and interview and did so weekly. The official release party of EDM Nightlife was on October 23rd 2011, located at Ghostbar at the Palms Hotel and Casino Resort on the 55th floor, overlooking Sin City. Shortly after release, the crew (led by Savelle) got to enter and film many prestigious Las Vegas venues such as: Club Light (Mandalay Bay/Cirque Du Soleil), Foundation Room (Mandalay Bay), Artisan Hotel, Drai’s Nightclub & Afterhours (Bill’s Gambling Hall), Cathouse (Luxor), DubChurch (Rio), Lavo (Venetian Hotel & Casino), Henderson Pavilion and many more.

The focus is on the artist, not the venue, however. EDM Nightlife today takes the same stand as it did at it’s birth, covering quality talent, famous and up-and-coming on the same roster. Artists are not to be judged by popularity, but by their passion for quality.

EDM Nightlife is a brand owned by VSGFX, Inc., an Austin, TX based media production company.
