This announcement includes the final headliner, hip-hop legend Nas, along with names such as Schoolboy Q, DJ Shadow, Capital Cities, Minus the Bear, Beats Antique and many more. This third announcement will solidify Kaleidoscope Music Festival as one of the biggest multi-day music festivals to come to the North West.
The official announcement was made Monday, June 24 on KDUK, Eugene’s local top-40 radio station, during a live interview with two executives of OneEleven Productions. A recording of the interview, along with a graphic of the full line-up for Kaleidoscope Music Festival 2013, is included in this press package.
Hip-hop legend Nas joins dubstep veteran Bassnectar and indie-dance group Empire of the Sun as headliners for Kaleidoscope Musical Festival. The remainder of Kaleidoscope’s lineup is equally diverse and offers something for everyone. The styles of the artists featured range from old-school to contemporary and the genres bridge electronic, hip-hop, indie-rock, bluegrass, reggae and more.
The festival will take place August 23-25, 2013 at the Emerald Meadows in Eugene, OR. Over 90 acts will be spread out over the three days of the festival. One of the headliners will close out the main stage each day - Bassnectar on Friday, Nas on Saturday, and Empire of the Sun on Sunday.
In addition to three-day passes, single-day and two-day passes are now available for purchase on the KMF website. For those who would like to spend the entire weekend on the grounds, camping passes are also available.
